Ziehm Solo

Superb Imaging Meets Versatile Design.

Big Things Come in Small Packages

Since the ORs in hospitals and surgery centers are becoming smaller and more equipment is being used, the demand for imaging units with smaller footprints is growing. Ziehm Solo is one of the most compact and versatile C-arms for crowded treatment scenarios. Its standalone concept eliminates the need of a separate monitor cart and offers mutiple viewing options at the same time. Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology, this C-arm delivers great performance for pain management, orthopedics and other applications. All this at a competitive price.

Ziehm Solo at a Glance

Compact Design

Its compact design makes Ziehm Solo easy to handle even in the smallest ORs. All functions required for image acquisition, processing and archiving are integrated in the C-arm. All C-arm movements are fully counterbalanced in every position, making the unit extremely comfortable to use.

Superb Image Quality

Ziehm Solo comes with a highly compact monoblock generator for producing short, sharp pulses and crystal-clear images. Its CCD camera with 1k x 1k resolution and a high dynamic range of more than 4,000 shades of gray for visualizing even the smallest anatomical structures.

Versatile Design

The versatile design of the Ziehm Solo allows flexible connection to a variety of external monitors such as ceiling mounted displays.

Clear View

  • Pulse technology – up to 25 frames per second with the most compact monoblock generator for best patient access and optimal image quality.

  • 1k x 1k HD CCD camera system – industry-leading, high dynamic CCD camera clearly visualizes even the tiniest anatomical structures.

  • 24'' high brightness TFT monitor or twin 18'' TFT monochrome monitors provide optimal image display.

  • Versatile Viewing Options

As a standard, Ziehm Solo comes with with a rotating 24" flatscreen monitor with split function, directly mounted on the C-arm. This compact design is very beneficial, especially in small ORs, where space is limited. Additionally, the system diplays the results in close proximity to the surgeon, eliminating the need of a separate monitor cart.
Additionally, Ziehm Solo enables flexible connection to external monitors such as ceiling mounted displays. The versatile concept of the unit also allows any combination of the described viewing options. In this way Ziehm Solo can be configured to the desired needs and working conditions.

Solo Center – Unlimited Freedom in Imaging Workflow

  • Comfortable operation of the system over synchronized TFT touchscreens conveniently mounted on the C-arm and an optional viewing station

  • Intuitive workflow through logical user guidance with clear and straightforward icons makes the system pleasant to work with.

  • Ziehm SmartEye – a live control image on the user TFT – ensures a smooth communication between operator and surgeon. Application-oriented anatomical programs optimally adjust the system performance to any body region, providing excellent image quality.

  • Open architecture makes the system fully future-proof and ensures unlimited upgradeability.

  • Comprehensive Archiving Possibilities

Ziehm Solo provides a wide range of integrated archiving devices for image storage such as:
  • • Hard disk
  • • USB port
  • • DVD writer
  • • Option to save images in DICOM and TIF format, downsized DICOM, TIF and JPG format
  • • High quality video paper or film printer

  • Object Detected Dose Control (ODDC)

As an option Ziehm Solo is available with Object Detected Dose Control (ODDC) which provides superb image quality at the lowest possible dose:
  • • Excellent real-time image control over 2 x 256 measurement cells covering the entire field of view
  • • Optimum histogram in each cell to control dose and video signal for independent object positioning
  • • Real-time motion detection
  • • Automatic adjustment of noise reduction level
  • • Automatic adjustment of pulse frequency if the object does not move
  • • Significant dose savings in clinical performance
  • • Automatic Metal Correction AMC without manual adjustments or flaring
